The final matches of the Europa League group stage were played last night, and it’s now settled which teams will advance to the round of 32. The 24 best teams from the group stage will be joined by the eight third-placed teams from the Champions League group stage. The draw for the round of 32 will take place on Monday 17 December, and the round of 32 is scheduled to start on 14 February.
In Europa League, the top two teams from all groups will move on to the round of 32. The winners from each group will enter as seeded teams in the draw, along with the four best third-placed teams from the Champions League groups. The second placed teams and the four other third-placed teams from Champions League’s group stage will be entered unseeded to the draw.
