Liverpool or Man City to win the title?

The last round of this season’s Premier League will be played on Sunday, and we have excitement all the way to the final matches. Manchester City is on top of the table before the final round, just one point ahead of Liverpool. Three points on Sunday means that City will defend last year’s title, but loss of points could mean that they lose the title to Liverpool. The odds from the betting sites are clearly in favour of Manchester City, but maybe Liverpool will be able to pull off another miracle this week?

Brighton – Manchester City and Wolverhampton – Liverpool are the two matches that will decide the Premier League winner this Sunday. Liverpool comes in with huge confidence from the 4-0 win against FC Barcelona earlier this week, and will surely do anything in order to pull off a second miracle this week. The pressure is hard on City, who might not be able to afford a point loss in their final Premier League match of the season.

Looking at the odds from the betting companies, Manchester City are clear favourites to win the title for the second season in a row. Unibet offers the odds of 1/10 that City will claim the title this weekend. A title for Liverpool comes in at the odds of 6/1, which means a nice payout if the Reds manages to do the impossible for the second time this week.

Brighton holds the 17th place in the Premier League table with 36 points this season, so on paper it should be an easy win for City. But as we know – everything is possible in football! Liverpool will play against 7th placed Wolverhampton, the newcomers that has performed above everyones expectations this season. Both Liverpool and Man City are favourites for the matches, with odds looking like this:

Brighton – Manchester City

17/1   x – 7/1   2 – 1/6

Liverpool – Wolverhampton
